The C-27J cargo bay is designed to handle standard 463L pallets and/or platforms, as well as many types of cargo loads, all of which can be easily loaded, carried and airdropped.
C-27J Cargo Transport
The twin-engine C-27J has been designed, built and equipped for completely autonomous deployment in extreme conditions such as those found in Canada’s North. The aircraft will operate safely from even the most remote, isolated Canadian locations and will meet Canada’s SAR requirements at as little as one-third of the operating cost of the current fleets used for this role.
The C-27J cargo bay has the largest cross-section in its class, a large rear ramp and a high strong cargo floor.
The C-27J includes a state-of-the-art suite of off-the-shelf military equipment integrated with a redundant MIL-STD 1553B digital data bus architecture.
C-27J Tactical Take-Off and Landing
The C-27J has the ability to land on any surface — snow, sand, and soft soil below CBR 4.
